Thai critics see "The Unseen" Print E-mail

HONG KONG -- Four films dominated the 15th Thailand National Critics Awards nominations, with Wisit Sasanatieng's period ghost drama "The Unseeable" and boarding school supernatural coming-of-age tale "Dorm" each nabbing ten nods in fifteen categories. Pen-ek Ratanaruang's low-key thriller "Invisible Waves" and teenage drama "Seasons Change" scored nine and eight nominations respectively.

All four films are nominated for best picture, best director, best screenplay, best cinematography, best editing, best score and best art direction. The remaining best picture slot went to animated feature "Kankluay" and Chukiat Sakweerakul receiving best director nomination for his comic book adaptation "13 Beloved".
