HONG KONG Feature film projects by Pang Ho-cheung, Wee Li-lin, Kenneth Bi and Zero Chou are among the yet-to-be-made packages selected for the upcoming Tokyo Project Gathering (Oct 21-24).
Event, held as part of the Tokyo Int'l Film Fest, sees selection of 32 projects and promotion of two additional projects jointly selected with the Shanghai Int'l Film Fest's China Film Pitch and Catch event.
Young Taiwanese multihyphenate Leste Chen features as producer of one and helmer of another. Other project potentially of note is an untitled U.S. effort to be helmed by Kazuo Ohno, which TPG lists as produced by Emily Ziff and Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman through his Cooper's Town Productions.
