TOKYO -- GDH's toons and games are available at an E2Max Internet cafe in Singapore thanks to a deal between GDH and E2Max Center, a subsid of Cathay Organization Holdings.

The cafe, called E2Max @ Cine-L9, opened a members-only space called Anime Chambers on Friday that offers toons from GDH production subsid Gonzo as well as online games published by Gonzo Rosso Malaysia, a subsid of GDH group company Gonzo Rosso.

Each private room in the space is equipped with a 42-inch monitor and has a capacity of five people. Although the games are free, members can buy a prepaid card from Gonzo Rosso Malaysia to acquire game items. The cafe also sells GDH toon-related merchandise.

In addition to Internet cafes, Cathay operates theaters in Singapore and Malaysia, as well as being active in pic production, acquisition and distribution.

In October, Cathay inked a deal with a Dubai partner to develop 150 multiplexes in the Middle East, North Africa, Indonesia and India.
