Looks like the prudish Chinese have forgiven Hong Kong singer-actress Gillian Chung, who got far more exposure than she expected when nude pics of her and heartthrob Edison Chen hit the Internet in January.
Her scenes in director Chen Kaige's $15 million "Mei Lanfang," a biopic of the late Peking Opera star, were said to be on the chopping block as a result of the scandal. But China Film Group, one of the backers, now says the scenes will remain and that Chung will take part in the movie's PR efforts.
