Taiwanese kids channel YoYo TV has acquired 118 hours of animation from MTV Networks International.
The net, part of Taiwan's Eastern Broadcasting Group, is acquiring titles including SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar, Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go which it will play in a Nickelodeon-branded block. Relationship between the two companies began in 2005. For the first time deal also includes pre-school series "Blue's Room."
YoYo, which rates as the top kids channel in Taiwan, has a target audience aged 0-7.
