NEW DELHI -- News Corp.'s Star group has announced another trio of executive hires to bolster scheduling, acquisition and content in Hong Kong and Mumbai.

Bonny Yu was named programming VP at Xing Kong, Star's flagship Mandarin general entertainment channel for mainland China.  She previously worked at the Disney Channel.

Jennifer Batty, previously with Europe's Viasat as pay TV program director, was appointed programming VP for Star World, which features U.S. entertainment. 

Jyotsna Viriyala was hired as programming VP for Star World India and Star Movies India. She joins from Media Content and Communication Services (India).

Batty reports to Todd Lituchy, prexy of entertainment, while Yu reports to Lituchy and Star China CEO Jack Gao. Viriyala reports to Batty and Brian Lau, programming VP for Star Movies.
