TOKYO -- J:Com, Japan's biggest MSO, has partnered with MTV Networks Japan to offer four popular Nickelodeon shows on the J:Com TV Digital service free of charge.

The shows, "SpongeBob SquarePants," "Dora the Explorer," "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" and "Rugrats," have been available on a VOD basis to 1.2 million J:Com TV Digital subs since July 1. Four episodes of each show air monthly.

In addition, "SpongeBob SquarePants" can be viewed by 5.5 million subs to the J:COM Channel every weekday from 2:30 p.m.-3 p.m.

All four shows can still be seen in Japan on the Nickelodeon strand, which broadcasts 24 hours a day in Japanese and English on the Sky PerfecTV! cable and satellite platform, as well as on cable TV and IPTV.
