HONG KONG Barely a week after giving itself an official launch party Hong Kong and Taiwan-based talent management company Stellar Entertainment announced Sunday that it had signed up Korean star Song Hye Kyo (Second ref: Song).
A former figure skater, Song became a star playing opposite Rain in widely distributed TV drama "Full House." She followed up with starring roles in "My Girl and I" and period piece "Hwang Jin Yi." She recently appeared in U.S. indie pic "Fetish" directed by Soopum Sohn ("Fish in the sea is not Thirsty.") She next appears in John Woo's Chinese Revolution epic "1949" (Variety, May 21, 2008.)
Stellar is headed by actress Michelle Yeoh, producer Terence Chang and manager David Tang.
