MTV Awards set for Malaysia |

HOLLYWOOD -- MTV Networks Asia's pan-regional music event, the 6th MTV Asia Awards, will be held at the Arena of Stars in Genting, Malaysia on Aug. 2, hosted by musician-turned-thesp Jared Leto.
MTV will present 16 honors including nine regional favorite artist awards.
The kudoscast, in front of the arena's audience of 6,000, will be broadcast to some 291 million homes across the region. Highlights will be carried on MTV channels in 162 countries, reaching more than a billion viewers.
