HONG KONG –Singapore's pay-TV platforms are both adding new nets to their channel line-ups.
Cable operator and predominant market leader StarHub is adding Eurosport to its sports package from April 15 at no extra cost to subscribers. The addition of the European sports net takes company's sports pack to 9 channels, in addition to a separate three net cricket option.
SingTel-backed newcomer mioTV, which broadcasts via Internet Protocol TV, this week adds ETTV Asia Channel and Asia Plus as exclusive options. The Mandarin channels are packaged by Taiwanese cabler ETTV and carry lifestyle, variety and entertainment shows with Asia Plus home to awards shows including the Golden Melody Awards, Golden Bell Awards and Golden Horse Awards.
