Malaysian firms score at FilMart |

HONG KONG -- Malaysian companies found the Hong Kong Filmart, which
ended Thursday, fertile ground for production and development.
Cartoon4Kids
secured a deal with Creative Power Entertaining of China to jointly
develop and produce an undisclosed 3-D animation series (13 half-hour
episodes) and a 2-D animation series (also 13 half-hours).
Macera
Technology and Hong Kong's Bubble Mon Licensing struck an agreement to
distribute all Bubble Mon videoclips and wallpapers in Malaysia and
other Southeast Asian countries. Part of the agreement also includes
jointly developing mobile games based on Bubble Mon characters.
Film
Point secured a deal with Orisa Prods. (Italy) to co-produce three
features: "Terror of Naples," "Little Eagle" and "Lost Village."
FrameMotion
Studio also concluded an agreement with Beijing Donghai Intl. Movie
& TV Culture to jointly co-produce an undisclosed 3-D animated TV
series.
