Fortissimo picks up two Berlin pics |

HONG KONG – Sales agent
Fortissimo Films has picked up int'l rights to two pics headed for
Berlin.
It will rep "Son of a Lion," a father and son tale set in contempo
war-torn parts of Pakistan. Pic was filmed under cover
by first time Oz helmer Benjamin Gilmour. It preemed in the World Cinema section
of the Pusan fest and appears next in Berlin's
Forum.
The Hong Kong- and Amsterdam-based company has also latched on to "Hold
me tight, let me go," a British docu about a boarding school for dysfunctional
children. Pic, by Kim Longinotto ("Shinjuku Boys," "Divorce Iranian Style",) has
already won prizes on the documentary festival circuit – IDFA and Britdoc—and is
skedded to appear at the Thessaloniki Documentary and Sheffield festivals.
