Khan toiled for more than a decade as a soap and TV actor in his native
India until a starring turn in 2001's international drama "The Warrior"
secured him Bollywood fame and, ultimately, his passage to Hollywood.
With three award-worthy performances in 2007, Khan has proved he can be
the heart of an epic drama ("The Namesake"), act without dialogue ("The Darjeeling Limited") and even steal scenes from Angelina Jolie ("A Mighty Heart").
