Fortissimo sees "Black, White + Gray" |

HOLLYWOOD -- “Black White + Gray: A Portrait of
Sam Wagstaff & Robert Mapplethorpe,” a documentary about the relationship
between a leading art collector and the controversial photographer that preemed
at the Tribeca fest, has been picked up for international sales by Fortissimo
Films.
Helmed by James Crump
and produced by LM Media, pic was previously acquired for U.S. television by the
Sundance Channel and for theatrical release in Australia and New Zealand by
Madman Entertainment. It has grossed $6,600 since its single screen theatrical
release by Gotham’s Arthouse Films.
Hong Kong- and Amsterdam-based Fortissimo will offer it for
sales at AFM, which opens Wednesday.
