Swedish documentaries go to Japan |

STOCKHOLM -- Ten Swedish docus will be screened in Tokyo during a Swedish film week that kicks off on Saturday.
The event is a co-operation between Swedish orgs including government-backed promo agency Svenska Institutet, the Swedish Film Institute, the National Film Center and the Swedish embassy in Tokyo plus Japan's Osaka European Film Festival.
Among films are Stefan Jarl's "Time Has No Name," Rebecka Rasmusson's "Alice and Me," and Helen Ahlsson and Lisa Munthe's "The Arm Wrestler From Ensamheten." Ahlsson and Munthe are among helmers who will travel to Tokyo.
The films will also screen during the Osaka fest, which runs Nov. 10-18.
