HOLLYWOOD -- Mandate
Pictures is financing and producing "The Horsemen", starring Dennis Quaid and
Zhang Ziyi and directed by Jonas Akerlund ("Spun"). David Callaham
wrote the script in which a detective discovers a connection between
himself and the suspects in a serial killing spree linked to the Four
Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Platinum Dunes' Brad Fuller and
Andrew Form are producing; Mandate's Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane and
Radar Pictures' Ted Field and Joe Rosenberg exec produce.
Sony has acquired international rights to "The Horsemen" for South Korea, Spain, Portugal, South Africa and Latin America.
