Imax has inked with the Nanjing Deji Plaza Co. to install a large-screen system in the biggest mall in the city of Nanjing, China.

The theater, which utilizes Imax’s more modestly priced MPX technology, is skedded to open in mid-2010.

There are 12 Imax theaters in China. That number is expected to exceed 25 by the end of 2010.
