Weinstein finds Chan's "Target" |

HONG KONG – The Weinstein
Co. has picked up multi-territory rights to "Invisible Target," an
ultra-violent Hong Kong-China actioner from helmer Benny Chan ("New Police
Story".)
Company acquired
rights in North America, Australia
and South Africa
from producer and sales shingle Universe International.
The $8
million pic will go out on release in parts of Asia next week with Universe
handling Hong Kong, Poly Bona giving it a very wide 500-print outing in
mainland China, Innoform in Singapore and Grand Brilliance in Malaysia. TWC has
not yet detailed its plans for the pic's release.
Cast is
headed by Nicolas Tse, Shawn Yue, Wu Jing and Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan.
