HONG KONG -- AETN All Asia Networks (AAAN), the recently formed venture between A&E Television Networks and ASTRO All Asia Networks, has appointed a trio of executives in the run-up its impending launch.
Louis Boswell, who is currently Senior Director, Affiliate and Multimedia Sales for ESPN STAR Sports, will take up the position as General Manager of AAAN in July. Michele Schofield, currently Head of Acquisitions and Development for Turner Entertainment Networks Asia, will become AAAN's new Director of Content - Programming, Acquisitions and Production. Connie Lai, who has held positions as VP, Marketing for Village Roadshow and with the Singapore Tourism Board, will become AAAN's Director of Marketing. Lai assumes her position immediately.
Headquartered in Singapore with operations in Kuala Lumpur, AAAN plans to build and operate branded channels throughout Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It is set to launch the History Channel and the Crime & Investigation Network in second and third quarter of 2007.
