CANNES -- Fortissimo struck a string of deals on its bulging Cannes festival and market slates.

Competition title “The Man From London” was sold to Artificial Eye for the U.K., Bitters End for Japan, United King, for Israel, A Film for Benelux, Lusomundo for Portugal, Seven Films for Greece.

Un Certain Regard film “Pleasure Factory” was sold to Sahamongkolfilm for Thailand, Wild Side for France, AZ for Spain, Lusomundo for Portugal, D Production for Turkey, Samfilm for Iceland, and United King for Israel.

Directors Fortnight pic “Ploy” went to Kinowelt for Germany, Shaw Renters for Singapore, D Production for Turkey, United King for Israel, and Lusomundo for Portugal.

Critics’ Week titlte “Bad Habits” was sold to United King for Israel, Seven Films for Greece, Cathay for Singapore and Lusomundo for Portugal.

“Ashes of Time Redux,” the upcoming reworking of Wong Kar-wai’s martial arts classic was sold to Splendid for Germany, Filmcoopi for Switzerland, Monolith for Poland, D Production for Turkey, Imagem for Brazil and Svensk Filmindustri for Scandinavia.

Martin Scorsese-helmed rockumentary “Shine A Light” was sold to Tuck Film for Ex-Yugoslavia, United King for Israel, Best Film for Poland, and DCA for Argentina.

“Mama’s Boy” was sold to Sandrew Metronome for Scandinavia, Bac Films for France, Paradiso for Benelux, Tuck for EX-Yugoslavia, Golden Scene for Hong Kong, Gulf for the Middle East, Delta for Peru and Rialto for New Zealand.

Todd Solondz’s “Life During Wartime” was sold to Village Roadshow for Australia and New Zealand, Svensk Filmindustri for Scandinavia, Imagem for Brazil, Monolith for Poland, Tuck Film for Ex-Yugoslavia and D Production for Turkey.

Actioner “Blood Brothers” was licensed to United King for Israel, D Prodution for Turkey, and Paradiso for Benelux.

J.M. Coetzee adaptation “Disgrace” was sold to Gutek for Poland, Svensk for Scandinavia and AA Film for Benelux.

Zhang Yang’s “Getting Home” was sold to CNC for Benelux, D Production for Turkey and J Pics for Thailand.

Stephan Elliot’s “Black Oasis” was sold to Lusomundo for Portugal, Imagem for Brazil and Seven Films for Greece.

“Annie Leibovitz: Life Through a Lens” was sold to Gulf Films for the Middle East, Intercinema for the former CIS, the ICA for the U.K., Ster Kinekor for South Africa and D Production for Turkey.

Eva Mendez-starrrer “Live!” was sold to Kinowelt for Germany, Pretty Pictures for France, Non Stop for Scandinavia, Seven for Greece, Gulf for the Middle East, Ster Kinekor for South Africa, Samfilm for Iceland, First Distributors for Hong Kong, DCA for Argentina and D Production for Turkey.
