Thailand, Thailand, Thailand...can't you stop having a completely crummy government, just for a little bit? All the recent unrest (which some folks think is leading to yet another coup) has caused Nonzee Nimibutr to indefinitely postpone the August 12 release of his epic fantasy film, QUEENS OF LANGKASUKA, since the last coup had a negative impact on box office. Since it's his most expensive movie, Nimibutr obviously doesn't want his current studio (Sahamongkol) to get torpedoed at the box office by politics. Wisekwai has more.
Even kittens are sad
about Thai politics.

wisekwai: Now set for October 9 release http://thaifilmjournal.blogspot.com
I think there's more to it than unstable politics, given the unfavorable reviews at the Cannes Film Market.
