Seven years after his last movie, Vietnamese-French director Tran Anh Hung (CYCLO, SCENT OF GREEN PAPAYA) is making a
new film, I COME WITH THE RAIN. And no, it's not a porno flick about Korean pop sensation RAIN. Instead, Josh Hartnett plays a private detective haunted by a past encounter with a serial killer and he's poking around in Hong Kong for a guy who can heal people with his touch. Needless to say, it sounds terrible. But it looks like some more acting power is being added to the cast with Lee Byung-Heon (A BITTERSWEET LIFE) joining as a triad boss and Takuya Kimura (2046) also signing on. Also, Shawn Yue has joined the cast as you can see by this photo of him acting up a storm with Josh Hartnett.
More pics from the set can be found here and here.

BTW, wenweipo.com hasn't the first site to state that he will star in I COME WITH THE RAIN; he was rumored to star in I COME WITH THE RAIN for a while. In May 2007, Lee Byung-heon' agent says that he was considering to star in I COME WITH THE RAIN, but he worry that the filming schedule of I COME WITH THE RAIN might be conflictive with the filming scuedule of THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE WEIRD.

Now, since Lee Byung-heon had came to Hong Kong in last friday, I think this problem is solved now.
